YA KUN KAYA TOAST ICE CREAM

Ice cream that doesnt melt quickly.. to see is to believe..
I have heard from friends and read on other blogs about this ice cream in Ya kun kaya that just doesnt melt that easily.. so when i had a chance to try it, i just had to observe and see iif it really doesnt melt
Ordered an assortment of flavor, from Durian, to strawberry, chocolate and cookies and cream..

i like the cookies and cream the best and here is the picture form the time i got it from the counter

and this is the picture 7 minutes after..
indeed, it didnt melt..
Anyway, i like the treat.. just like the ice cream you can get from the street but here the bread is toasted slightly so you get a slight crunch while eating it. A great way to cool down in the humid Singapore weather.

Tom's Palette again!!!

Sorry guys, i am just addicted to Tom's Palette. Whenever I am in Beach road, i should pass by there, look at their flavours and grab myself some ice cream and eat it

Here is a serving of Apple pie and Melt and sizzle.. THe apple pie was fantabulous, really delicous as always. he melt and sizzle was also good,
i like the popping it makes when you have a scoop of it inside your month. Very enjoyable and very satisfying. To those who still havent tried Tom's Palette, head to Shaw leisure gallery now in Beach Road. You wont regret it:)

Swensen's -multiple branches

Swensens
One of the more popular Ice Cream Chains here in Singapore. Placed was packed on a weekend evening, you have to queue before you get a seat. What else to order here but dessert right?
Got the Malt Ice cream - which was just okay, nothing to brag about,.
Apple Pie ala mode—I always love the play of warm and cool dessert in one dish. But my rant here is that the butterscotch sauce was overly sweet. It would have been a nice dessert if it wasn’t so sweet.-
I still prefer Tom Palette’s ice cream over this one.

Best Store Bought Ice Cream - Carrefour Supermarket

Nevermind Kings, Magnolia, Walls, etc etc.. Here is what for me is the best 1 quart ice cream at less than 6.00SGD, let me introduce you guys to Carrefour’s Vanilla ice cream, made with real vanilla beans, this ice cream has a strong vanilla taste and it doesn’t taste like medicine caus they use fresh beans in their ice cream. Creamy , Delicious.

Toms Palette - Bugis

Ice cream has been a booming industry here in Singapore, and I don’t wonder why. This country is very hot and humid and what else is nice to enjoy aside from an ice cold drink but ice cream right?
A lot of homemade ice cream places are starting to flood Singaporean, let me share my favorite among them all
This tiny stall in Shaw Leisure Gallery in Beach road which for me serves the best and most affordable ice cream in Singapore. Not counting that the owners were also the nicest I have met.
Here I am excited to get my scoop of ice cream divided into 2 flavors. Vanilla and Sarsi.
All I can do was smile while I was savoring my frozen delight. Creamy and dense, it is just how I like my ice cream.
Will be back for more!!!
