Tanjong Pagar Nasi Lemak - Tanjong Pagar

I have been to this hawker center in Tanjong Pagar many times and this stall always escapes my tummy. Because No.1 - it closes early. they only serve breakfast and lunch. No.2 - the queue can be quite long during lunch time.

I told myself, i will not go home unsatisfied today so i braved the lunchtime crowd... and heat... and went to get my 2.50 nasi lemak.
Consisting of Otah, fish cake, Chicken Wing, Fried egg and quekiam. It was worth the money you are paying. What i like about Nasi Lemak stalls with long queue is that you are assured of getting your fried items freshly cooked.

Everything was tasty and satisfying. Now i know why the queue here is very long and why it is sold out by 2pm. Closed also on weekends and holidays

Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak - Adam Road Food Center

Adam Road food Center is said to have the top 2 Nasi Lemak stalls in Singapore. I
like the way this hawker enter is built. Very clean looking. good ventilation. Quickly accessible by public transportation(bus)

Aside from Hainanese Chicken Rice.. Nasi Lemak is also something I like eating. Who wouldn’t love coconut milk rice, fried chicken wings, excellent sambal, right?
Among the great places for nasi lemak, this one is one of the better ones.. why?
The rice they use here is Basmati rice which I love. Long Grain, Fluffy and absorbs well without being wet. The fried chicken wing here is also great. They cooked it continuously because of having long queues and lot of peple buying, you are assured that the wings you get are fried fresh. Not counting the breading they used is also tasty.

The sambal is also a winner, not scorchingly spicy, but it has the right amount of sweetness to balance everything out.
Definitely one of the best Nasi Lemak around.
