Lau Pa Sat Festival Market

When people talk about Lau Pa Sat, what coems to mind is a fantastic looking structure that is well lit.. Food that is available 24 hours a day and most importantly.. the most number of Satay stalls in any hawker center.
Located near the Raffles place MRT, this Hawker center is housed in a building that was build during 1894, the structure is beautiful and the Singapore Government has already made it a protected strucure.
This place is frequented by tourist as local usually bring guests here as it is near the CBD and the City proper and very accessible.
At night the place just liven up with the numerous Satay stalls justling for customers.
Ordered few peices of chicken and mutton satay -

to be honest, i was a bit disappointed, the mutton peices were not as tender as i hope for and the chicken was a bit dry.. maybe the big volume of customers is taking a toll in the quality of their food.
Mee Goreng-
this was just okay lah.. nothing great
Sugar cane with lime-
the best thirst quencher for a hot humid night.. perfect with the food.

BARPAZZA - Raffles Place

25 Church Street
Singapore 049482
6536 0572

Located in the Strip of Restaurants in the Capital Square Area, I noticed this pace because of the incredible offer they have for diners. They have an ongoing promo where diners can have either 1 for 1 pizza or pasta. Who wouldnt want a deal like this. So i scoot over this palce quickly to have a try of their pizzas
They have quite an assortment of different toppingd to offer, from the usual fare you would see in a typical italina restaurant, to asian inspired toppings, like satay, Sambal, and other singaporean delight. But for this meal, i am sticking to the traditional toppings.
Mushroom lovers- three kinds of fresh mushroom, baked till its cooked and soft.

Parma Ham- parma slices, rucola leaves and shaved parmesan.

Both pizzas were terrific, expect thin, cripsy and delicious crust pizzas. I love it. I personally like the Parma ham more, i think its because of the Rucola leaves that adds a freshness dimension to the pizza, plus the shaved parmesan is also a plus:)
And to help you finish the pizza is a cold bottle of Italian beer, what else would be fitting right?

So come down and enjoy this fantastic deal.
