SARPINO'S - Lots of branches all over Singapore

THere are a lot of Pizza places for delivery, Pelican, Rite, Canadian, Pizza de France etc etc.. Here is the first "Fast Food Pizza" i got to try.
The nice thing about Sarpinos, unlike the other pizza outlets. Sarpinos has stand alone outlets that serves pizzas by the slice, which i am hoping the others would follow.
This is their all meat pizza. Thier pizzas are pattern like PIZZA HUT's, meaning its THICK crust like a Pan Pizza. So a slice can be a bit filling for a light eating and can be subsatantial for a guy like me.

I love Pizzas in general, so for a quick fix, a lice of this pizza was okay lah. Dont expect Italian type pizzas here. This is more hearty and heavy.
What pizza chain do you guys recommend here in Singapore?

Al Forno - East Coast Road

There are also a lot of italian restaurants here in Singapore, Browsing thru MAKANSUTRA, this place got high marks for their pizza, so i decided to give it a try.
Pizza dough is prepared fresh daily and hand rolled and tossed.

The oven is very hot and cooks the pizza in less than 10 minutes:)
Ordered the All meat Pizza-

The crust was done well, crispy outer part and soft chewy inner portion, not tooo thick, not too thin. The toppings of tomato sauce, cheese and assorted meat was good. I like it that the italian sausage was not the cut up ones and it was made fresh.
Overall, i like the pizza, but is it the best in Singapore? I have to try some more places:)

Da Paolo Pizza Bar - Holland village

Pizza oo...pizza.. This is one non-singaporean food which i like very much. I love the concept of Da PAolo Pizza Bar. Pizza is nice finger food. Its heavy on the tummy, its has the combination of carbohydrates, protein, veggies and dairy. all i one complete package. Partner it together with you favorite alcoholi cbeverage and you got an interesting evening:)
Situated in Chip Bee Gardens in Holland Village. THe place has a soothing ambience that makes you just wanna realx and take you tie eating the pizza, driking and talking with good friends. What more can you ask for right
But lets concentrate on the food. Was the pizza good?
Ordered a half and half, which lately is how i like ordering a pizza so you can have a taste of two kinds of topping combinations.
The crust was jsut the way i like it , thin yet chewy inside and crispy outside. The one with parma ham could use a touch of fresh greens on top. The mushroom pizza was a great because of its infusion with truffle oil..
Its is not the best i have tasted here in singapore. Yer it is better than your average delivery pizza.

BARPAZZA - Raffles Place

25 Church Street
Singapore 049482
6536 0572

Located in the Strip of Restaurants in the Capital Square Area, I noticed this pace because of the incredible offer they have for diners. They have an ongoing promo where diners can have either 1 for 1 pizza or pasta. Who wouldnt want a deal like this. So i scoot over this palce quickly to have a try of their pizzas
They have quite an assortment of different toppingd to offer, from the usual fare you would see in a typical italina restaurant, to asian inspired toppings, like satay, Sambal, and other singaporean delight. But for this meal, i am sticking to the traditional toppings.
Mushroom lovers- three kinds of fresh mushroom, baked till its cooked and soft.

Parma Ham- parma slices, rucola leaves and shaved parmesan.

Both pizzas were terrific, expect thin, cripsy and delicious crust pizzas. I love it. I personally like the Parma ham more, i think its because of the Rucola leaves that adds a freshness dimension to the pizza, plus the shaved parmesan is also a plus:)
And to help you finish the pizza is a cold bottle of Italian beer, what else would be fitting right?

So come down and enjoy this fantastic deal.
